Richard Batenburg, Jr. is CEO of Clear Cannabis Inc. In addition to his role as CEO, Richard holds managing positions in BATMANN Consulting, Inc., a strategic consulting and holding company to cannabis-related and non-cannabis-related businesses, where he has served as President since its founding in March 1997. In April 2015, Mr. Batenburg founded Cliintel Capital Management Group, where he currently serves as Fund Manager for investment funds dedicated to the cannabis sector. Redwood Investment Partners LLC d/b/a Bonsai Cultivation, a cannabis cultivation company, where he served as the chairman from the company’s formation in January 2017 until March of 2026.
Mr. Richard M. Batenburg, Jr. is an accomplished executive with a distinguished career spanning multiple industries. He has served as Chief Executive Officer of Comedy Works/First Entertainment, a publicly traded company, and has been the founder, owner, and operator of several businesses across diverse sectors. Additionally, Mr. Batenburg raised $4.5 million for a third fund that holds a significant equity position in Clear Cannabis Inc. Mr Batenburg served as Chairman of Redwood Investment Partners LLC d/b/a Bonsai Cultivation, a cannabis cultivation company, from the company’s formation in January 2017 until March of 2026.
Mr. Batenburg’s extensive operational, managerial, and investment experience—acquired both within and outside the cannabis industry—uniquely qualifies him to serve as the Company’s Chairman and President. He is recognized as an operations-focused executive with over four decades of experience managing all facets of business operations, from strategic planning to tactical execution. Mr. Batenburg has led various capital market firms and is highly skilled in business acquisition, optimization, and management.
