Yung Tan is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MFUSED. A life-changing event prompted Yung to leave a successful professional career to launch MFUSED together with Adam Melero (his college roommate) and Jeff Freeman, more than a decade ago. Yung’s father passed away after an arduous battle with pancreatic cancer. High CBD extracts provided great comfort to his father during this fight and ultimately helped him survive for more than two years, despite an initial prognosis of less than 6 months. This led to Yung’s epiphany on the profound medical efficacy of cannabis and MFUSED’s mission and vision to create the most innovative products in the industry, delivering unparalleled enjoyment, efficacy, safety, quality, consistency and value.

As a recovering senior investment banker who also had a cup of coffee as a corporate lawyer, Yung brings over 20 years of corporate and executive experience to the industry. He drives the corporate growth strategy, business development and day-to-day management of MFUSED, touching everything from sourcing to HR to sales. Yung draws on his corporate background and his decade plus experience leading MFUSED, to bridge the gap between risk-mitigated strategy and cannabis market realities, allowing him to grow MFUSED internally and profitably without outside funding or shareholders. Under his leadership, MFUSED has grown from a three-person operation in the Washington medical cannabis market to one of the top-selling brands in the country, with market leading positions in Washington, Arizona and New York, with more markets to come. His disciplined, forward-looking leadership continues to position MFUSED as a competitive force in an evolving industry.
