Nick Liaromatis is a founding member of Terrabis, a dispensary operator headquartered in Chicago with locations across Illinois and Missouri. As a medium-sized, multi-state operator focused on retail rather than full vertical integration, Nick brings a grounded perspective on what it takes to scale when growth depends on general market viability, execution, and navigating regulatory complexity across multiple markets.

Nick has built his approach to expansion around treating compliance and licensing strategy as operational infrastructure, not overhead. In Missouri, he contributed heavily to cannabis policy work tied to Amendment 3, which legalized adult-use cannabis statewide. The experience of developing practical, workable frameworks for the Missouri market sharpened his ability to anticipate regulatory risk and structure growth plans around it.

Nick currently serves as Vice Chair of CBAI (Cannabis Business Association of Illinois), where he has played a central role in reviewing and redlining proposed Illinois legislation for collective industry review. He brings firsthand insight into how operators who compete on customer experience rather than supply chain control can scale responsibly.
