Laura Jaramillo is the Chief Operating Officer of Botany Bay, a management services company supporting licensed cannabis operators in Illinois and Kentucky.

Laura has been instrumental in supporting the growth of licensed cannabis operations across multiple markets, helping teams navigate the evolving cannabis landscape as Illinois transitioned from medical to adult-use and Kentucky launched its medical cannabis program. Her work spans regulatory applications, zoning approvals, facility buildouts, operational systems, brand launches, and major M&A transactions.

Laura serves on the board of the Cannabis Business Association of Illinois (CBAI), and as Treasurer for the Kentucky Cannabis Industry Alliance (KCIA). She has a degree in Government, magna cum laude, from Harvard University. Originally from Colombia, Laura immigrated to the U.S. with her family when she was a teenager. She is deeply committed to drug policy reform.
