Dotan Y. Melech is the co-founder and CEO of CTrust, a credit risk intelligence platform for financial institutions, lenders, and institutional debt buyers working with the cannabis industry. Prior to founding CTrust, Mr. Melech led United AMS, an asset management company serving banks, corporations, and private equity. Mr. Melech is a seasoned executive in credit and risk analysis, receivership, bankruptcy, and corporate restructuring and is regarded as a subject matter expert on distressed assets and risk management. Additionally, he has acted as a Federal Bankruptcy Trustee and State and Federal Receiver on thousands of cases. He is a contributor to American Banker, Forbes, WSJ, mg Magazine, MJ Biz Daily and other notable publications. Mr. Melech is a veteran and holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is an avid tennis player and a lifetime member of USTA. Dotan and his wife Tracy have four kids and live in Dallas, Texas.
