Bill Morachnick has served as CEO of Charlotte’s Web since 2023, leading a multi-year transformation to position the company as a broader botanical wellness leader. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened its balance sheet through strategic investments, expanded into new categories, and accelerated D2C growth across digital platforms.

He has also helped advance new healthcare pathways for hemp-derived CBD, including participation in a federal pilot program, and supported the progression of DeFloria’s plant-based pharmaceutical candidate into Phase 2 clinical trials.

Prior to Charlotte’s Web, Morachnick led Santa Fe Reynolds Tobacco International, growing it into a $5 billion acquisition by Japan Tobacco Group. He holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and has served as an adjunct professor of global business strategy at UNLV.
