Speaker Bio
Teri LeBlanc is co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Drop, a queer women-founded cannabis technology platform designed to serve as the operating system for cannabis delivery. A veteran technologist whose career spans robotics, Amazon, quantum computing and artificial intelligence, LeBlanc brings deep engineering expertise to the challenge of making cannabis delivery simpler, more scalable and easier for licensed operators to manage.

She earned a degree in computer science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she focused on robotics and helped develop an autonomous underwater robot. Teri began her career as a robotics engineer before joining Amazon, where she led teams responsible for the communication infrastructure connecting Alexa-enabled devices and helped build autonomous robotics systems used in Amazon warehouses. She later built and led the software organization at quantum computing company IonQ, helping develop advanced computing systems deployed around the world.

At Drop, Teri applies that experience to the complex challenge of connecting consumers, dispensaries and drivers while navigating cannabis compliance, tracking and payment requirements. She independently architected Drop’s multi-application platform, including a location-based regulatory rules engine, and accelerated its development by building and directing a team of AI engineering agents.

Teri offers expertise spanning artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing, regulated technology and cannabis innovation.

A Denver-based mom of two boys, she enjoys skiing, traveling and, as a cannabis connoisseur, exploring cannabis cultures in markets including Barcelona, Amsterdam, Jamaica and Canada with her Drop co-founder, Kat Savoy.
