Melanie Nash is the CEO of TUMI Genomics, a molecular diagnostics company protecting cannabis crops from the pathogens that silently destroy yields and profits. She joined TUMI in 2025, bringing 25 years of leadership experience and over a decade in cannabis, from opening one of the first dispensaries on the East Coast in Boston in 2015, to COO roles at Dark Heart Nursery, where her team was first to identify Hop Latent Viroid as the cause of cannabis dudding disease, and Purple City Genetics, where she expanded genetics access across California and internationally.
