Steven is a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment group who represents companies in a broad range of labor and employment matters. He focuses on advising clients on day-to-day employment issues, such as those relating to discrimination, retaliation and wage and hour matters, restrictive covenant issues, including non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, and related enforcement actions. Steve also has experience in defending clients in union organizing drives, collective bargaining agreements, and hearings before the National Labor Relations Board, and state and federal administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State Division of Human Rights. As a former in-house labor and employment counsel, he understands the challenges that employers face in today’s evolving legal landscape. He is often retained to be a trusted advisor when an employer has to navigate difficult employment issues in a strategic manner. He has worked with companies in many emergent industries including cannabis on these issues.
